Roomies is a mobile application that allows you to track and manage roommate tasks. Roomies includes features such as roommate contracts, roommate do not disturb notifications, and tracking living management tasks.

Students often struggle to maintain positive relationships with their roommates, and many have experienced at least one bad roommate experience. There are a myriad of factors to consider when managing a roommate and co-living spaces. How can we remove friction from the home-sharing experience and establish trust and respect among roommates?

Disturbing
Students expressed roommates disturbing them during quiet hours or interrupting meetings.
"My roommate would barge in while I was interviewing or in the middle of an important call"
Chore Management
Students often argue with roommates regarding chore rotation and responsibilities.
"We'd always argue about who's turn it is to take out the trash or swiffer"
Guest Rules
Students were bothered with roommates having guests over.
"We all agreed to not have guests during the weekdays but because we didn't have any formal rules, they'd overstep boundaries"

Based on user pain points during the home-sharing/room-sharing experience, I created a storyboard to represent how my solution can solve these problems on a high level. My solution would address roommate disturbing, fair chore management, and guest rules consideration to foster respect among roommates.

Based on my rough prototype sketches, I created a simple mobile app wireframe to outline the main app screens and the user flow to determine app navigation and feature placement.
